Actually twice a day. Let me explain. Of course at night we used them for marshmallows and the long forks for hot dogs. However, the best discovery came @ breakfast time when we went to toast our toast over the fire. we skewered the toast on the forks which worked ok. But that hot dog thing that so many reviewers complained about it not being the right fit? We found out the hard way that was correct. But my daughter put 2 slices of bread and there and placed it over the fire. Voila!!! Perfect toast! It even had the little lines as if it came from a toaster. And two at a time and the 2 slices are a PERFECT fit! They should re-advertise this as a toaster! So if you think of that piece as a mini toaster rather than a hotdog thingy you can be perfectly confident everyone will be waiting in line to do their own toast!
