Being in the Army for five years, I've had many experience sleeping on cots and I like to think I know what a good cot is when I sleep on one. So far, there have been no problems to report and I would recommend this item to anyone searching for a cot. It's very durable and seem like it will hold a decent amoount of weight, but I am only 170. When you get up and lay down, there is no squeaking of any kind. So you don't have to worry about waking people up. It's very easy to set up. I would recommend installing the the pole on the side that has no velcro first. This is a very sturdy and thoughtful design. I tried it myself (6'4 220lbs) and was quite happy with the experience. I would assume, though, that 6'4" is the upper limit. The only thing that I found strange is that it did not seem to have a manual. It's not too hard to figure out but it would have been nice. Other than that, the size and weight, the sturdiness of the frame and the cloth, the accessories and the storage bag are very very nice. I highly recommend it! |
