When the pack came at first I thought it might be too small but then my friend told me it was just right because it wouldn't add a lot of strain on him while he's hiking. The less a person carries the better the experience and having 1.5 litters of water is perfect for the casual sips through the woods.My friend then went on to dismantling the pouch that holds the water quite easily. This was a good thing because it shows how easy it is to get into the water pouch to clean it. He also managed to repack it with that same ease and without damaging the pouch. **Overall: It is a perfect investment for anyone because of these reasons; 1. It holds enough so you can have water with you but not to much to give a person extra strain. Not too big but not too small. 2. It is easy to assemble and disassemble without tearing the water pouch. I wanted something small and compact to wear under my jacket when snowboarding. This is very comfortable and not too bulky. The zip pocket fits a Luna/Clif sized bar easily, plus money and ID as needed. The straps are very long and when tightened all the way the pack rides high on the shoulders. I've had to bind up the spare nylon with rubber bands to keep them from dangling.No leaks, no drips, good seal on the mouthpiece. Easy to clean, doesn't pick up odors, but a little hard to handle. The tube attachment is a little difficult to screw in and out, but no more than any other similar design.
