I'm not a wilderness expert, nor am I an armchair commando. I go camping and hiking on occasion; never had to kill a bear and wear its fur for warmth, but I also (hopefully) avoid talking out of my ass on things I don't know. This is just my honest review. I didn't talk about the sheath, but my video was already nearing the size limit. In short, it holds the knife. That's it. I don't really feel too confident with it just testing out how it feels to be worn, I'd probably have to overcome some apprehension to wear it if I go back out. Will let you guys know. The blade came fairly dull, but it sharpens easily and holds an edge about average. The sheath is poorly constructed, on the day I received it the blade had already begun to tear through the bottom. The Magnesium fire starter is surprisingly good given the price for both objects. Overall, a very good purchase. |
