It has a groove where you can (kind of) tuck in the sheets - it does keep the bottom sheet in place. No jumping...no sharp objects nearby...I even wrapped it up in an over-sized mattress pad to protect it!Upon trying to return it, I discover that today (Feb. 13) was the last day on the return policy...so I'm out my dollars and my "supposed to be" quality product!
